A transmissão de pulsos não lineares tornou-se fácil.
Fiberdesk é um software para transmissão de pulsos lineares e não lineares. Baseia-se na solução de equações de Schrödinger não lineares estendidas por meio de uma transformação de Fourier passo a passo e era capaz de combiná-las com simulações de equações de taxa.
Cada umSoftware FiberdeskTodas as licenças são protegidas por cães de criptografia de hardware. Ele pode ser encomendado como uma chave USB local sem disco do computador e precisa permanecer conectado ao computador durante a execução do software Fiberdesk.

Em princípio, a equação de Schrödinger não linear permite a transmissão de pulsos longos. No entanto, a dispersão de Brillioun não foi realizada. É possível simular a dispersão Raman. Para a luz contínua, a taxa de repetição deve ser definida de acordo com o tamanho do tempo para que o pico e a potência média sejam iguais. A partir do FiberdeskV5.0, a funcionalidade da caixa de diálogo "Criar pulso" é fornecida com a opção "cw", que equilibra automaticamente a taxa de repetição para a janela de tempo.
Além disso, a largura de banda do espectro é dada pela resolução temporal (janela temporal do número de pontos de dados). Por exemplo, para o número máximo de pontos de dados, a largura de banda pode ser processada como ~ 100nm@1 Um pulso de 80ns de comprimento de onda central de μm, cuja desvantagem é muito lenta. Além disso, na ausência de uma equação de Schrödinger não linear, ns e cw podem ser simulados usando a equação de taxa fornecida pelo software Fiberdesk.
